4 of 4 people found the following review helpful.I ordered this product on 4/8/2011 and got exactly what the picture shows so whatever problems they may have had have been solved. Although probably not necessary because our KeyFit30 fits perfectly into the seat without the attachments, this makes it very secure. We just leave the straps on the stroller and it never takes more than a few seconds to secure. The only complaint I have is that when the KeyFit is in the stroller, the Phil and Teds visor cannot be in place. Ultimately not that big of a deal and I am overall very happy with this product.
4 of 4 people found the following review helpful.I bought the new Phil & Teds Explorer (2010-2011) last week and added the Chicco Car seat adaptor too. It is super easy to use and my Chicco Keyfit 30 is super secure sitting in the top of my Phil & Teds Explorer. There is no way my baby can fall out with the car seat adaptor attachment. Took maybe 5 min total to read instructions and put it onto my stroller, then when I am putting my baby in the car seat onto the stroller takes maybe 30 seconds to attach the adaptor pieces to make sure she is secure. With my 2 year old in the doubles attachment down below I am finally able to easily get out and around without waking up my baby.
2 of 2 people found the following review helpful.I ordered the Explorer because I was so glad that Phil & Teds finally created a stroller that allowed the use of the second seat and a carseat adaptor at the same time. I was disappointed when I finally ordered the Chicco adaptor for baby number two and found that it required the top stroller seat to recline about three inches to securely fit the car seat. This takes away a substantial amount of room from the second seat. Also, the car seat was not an easy in and out especially if you have a sleeping baby in it and when the car seat was in the stroller, the sun shade was hard to move. Over all I was very disappointed. We love the Explorer so we ended up buying a Peg Perego car seat and with that adaptor, the car seat clicks in so nicely and works as you would expect!
