It doesn't block everything, but it can help with shade, bugs, flying toys/sippy cups and so on.Pros:Fits the BOBBetter than trying to get a blanket to stay onHelps keep the rays/bugs/wind off of your kidHelps keep toys and suck IN the stroller!Cons:No window to check on your kid!Kiddos can get HOT because it also reduces air circulation. UV mesh would be better than the screen!Instructions are HORRIBLE! Someone needs to make a "for dummies" video on YouTube! No quick access to kiddo. A zipper would be GREAT on the side!Overall, there's no other options for sun protection on the BOB. I guess I'm glad I bought it, but I may need to make a Pinterest link on how to fix some of the cons.
12 of 15 people found the following review helpful.I purchased this cover for my BOB to protect my little one from insects and sun. The first one I purchased I had to return due to the elastic that is used to tighten down the sides breaking, and so did the second and third one. I went to a couple of dealers to ensure that I was correctly putting on the shield per the very poor instructions given, and all agreed that there was no alternative to put it on. The problem is that you have to stretch the elastic band so taunt it weakens the band where it is sewn into the shield. Since I have a desperate need for this overpriced sun shield without a UV rating I have had to use bungee cords to keep the shield taunt. I attached one bungee cord to each elastic band. One end of the bungee cord I bent the metal piece around the elastic band to ensure the bungee cord wouldn't be lost during transport. From here you have two choices on strapping the shield down - first is around the knob you would normally place the elastic band or secondly around the shocks (the black part, not the silver). So far it is working good, hopefully this one lasts longer than a month.
3 of 3 people found the following review helpful. It fits very well, not perfect and does what it's supposed to. The annoying part is how expensive the Bob add on items are. It's not enough to pay $400 for a stroller, you have to pay top dollar for the car seat attachment, cup holder, food tray, sun shield, etc......
