I LOVED it, but it had a couple of flaws that were pretty annoying...but I put up with them becuase I really loved having an inline stroller. When they came out with the Explorer I saw that they had fixed all of those flaws and so I sold my Sport and bought my Explorer. I LOVE it! Here is why:Pros:Sturdy - I watched my stroller fall down an escalator (no kids in it, my brother was trying to take it up the escalator at the aiport like an idiot). It has also travled around the world being thrown around by baggage handlers. And it still is in perfect condition!Inline - This stroller is really the size of my old Chicco single stroller. I love that I can walk through tight isles in clothing stores with BOTH kids and it still fits.A Doulbe AND a single - I also love that it goes from double to single so easily. If my 3-year-old doesn't want to ride, who cares? I used to have a side by side stroller and if she didn't ride it was so hard to push becaue the weight wasn't evenly distributed.Easy to Fold - P&T improved upon the Sport in that it folds up with one hand. Popping on the doubles kit is easy as well.Better Breaks - This is HUGE improvement over the Sport too...the break is so easy to put on and off.Improved front seat recline - WIth the old Sport you had to unzip, unbuckle and unclip a million things to recline the front seat and it drove me nuts! On this explorer you can easily recline and put the seat back up.Use with infant seat & second seat - another huge improvement! Now next time I Have a baby I feel like I can use this as my travel system.Easy to push - You can push two kids with just one hand!Big sturdy tires - You can even push this on the sand or through the grass!Awesome sun shades - Another huge improvement over the old Sport, the sunshades are on both seats and they are big and really cover the kids well.Wont' tip over - Another improvement over the sport. If your kid climbs in the back seat and no one is sitting in the front it won't tip over on them.Cushy seats - The seats are nicely padded and seem comfy - the front seat is also very tall and will hold the tallest of toddlers.Cons:The bottom seat does not recline :( That is the only major bummer with this stroller. I have heard though that you can buy the hammerhead doubles seat for this and it does recline. I might try that if I feel I really need the recline. The wheel guards seem flimsier than the old sport one. Don't know if this will be a problem, I hope not. They just snap on instead of screwing on.It is a bit bulky to carry around - but I rarely have to do that so I don't care. Besides, what double stroller isn't bulky?ALl in all I'd recommend this to anyone with two small kids! There is no better way to get around.

The 3rd time I used this stroller, the tires got all warped as I was walking to the point where I couldn't even push the stroller anymore because the tire was coming off of the wheel. Went home, worked on it for over an hour & managed to get the wheels to a point where I could push the stroller again. Next time I used it, a tube popped. All the tires were already inflated when I received the stroller new from the seller, so i don't know why I was having issues with what seemed to be over-inflated tubes. Contacted seller... no help. Contacted p&t customer service. They told me new tires & tubes would be shipped to me in a week. Waited... no package. Contacted p&t customer service again and they told me another week. Waited... no package. Contacted them again and they told me they wouldn't have them in until January (it was mid October at this point) and that I would be charged for the parts & for the shipping. Have not yet called to bite their head off and tell them how upset I am and that I expect the shipment ASAP with no expense to me. In the mean time, I had to spend another [...] on an already [...] stroller to buy new tubes & slime for the tubes. Seems to be working okay, but I'm pretty disappointed I spent a small fortune on this 'amazing' stroller that came with cheap wheels & tires.

Now starts to come off when I move the sunshade and does not stay on at all when I fold it. I was just back in NZ in the store I bought it at at they said contact P&T they will send out a replacement. Did so and had a reply in a couple of days and a replacement was dispatched immediately. Have not received said replacement yet but apparently attachment clip has changed. Will update once I receive it. 5 stars to P&T for customer service on this issue.Maintenance: as stated below we live in Singapore (humid and coastal) our P&T does not seem to handling the conditions so well. When we went home to NZ we struggled to get the wheels off to pack the stroller in its bag as the bearings in the wheel bolts had rusted. There is also some rust appearing on certain parts of the stroller. For the environment we live in we need to be careful about maintenance or it will be a pile of rust in a few months time.Manoverability: am now a more experienced stroller driver and this is one thing I love about this stroller. Took it to the beach in NZ had had no problem getting it over sand (my sister with her Mamas and Papas Solar could not say the same) and have taken it up and down escalators (watch the items in your basket on the way up). It is a very easy drive. The only difficulties are: size - length and width; stairs (one or two stairs - okay -more you need another person).Original review:I was tossing up whether to give this stroller 3 or 4 stars. I do like it but in reality it is probably not the best fit for where I live I think it will be a better fit in NZ when we return and we will really reap the benefits when we have our second child. Our first child is only two months old so I have not used this with the inline system. When looking for a pram/stroller for our first born I was torn between single travel systems like Bugaboo and getting something that could expand to take another child as we will likely space our children close together due to my age. I must admit I did not do a lot of research on other inline systems before I got this as my husband was so keen to get an NZ brand. We are living in Singapore and this stroller is probably not the best fit for where we are living. I have been able to carry it onto buses in Singapore with my son in a front pack (although not without some effort). Folded it fits in the trunk of all the taxis I have taken so far but sometimes when folding it the front wheel does not lock in so it unfolds as I lift it. With the handle fully up I can wheel it along on its back wheels and stand it on its back wheels. It is great in East Coast park but not so great in the small supermarket near where I live and too wide for many escalators. All in all I would recommend this stroller but think carefully if you live in a crowded place with poor/narrow footpaths and small shops or lots of stairs.ProsThe stroller is very maneuverable I can swing it around with one hand and it turns fully on it's back wheels with the front wheel unlocked. The foot break is really easy to put on and off (I have found when turning the break off the wheels sometimes lock but it is as easy as rolling the the stroller backwards to unlock them)The movable sunshade is useful (especially in Singapore)The stroller can be stored on its back wheels and wheeled on its back wheels when folded (provided you put the handle in the highest position)It is not that heavy for its sizeIt can take 1 or 2 children until they are quite oldThe one hand folding is a great idea (it was a little stiff when we first got it and has some flaws - see below)We travel by taxi a lot and use it with the Phil&Teds baby capsule (not available in the US) which clicks onto the adapter (sold separately) and I can still lay my 2 month old flat with the car seat attached on the frontIt looks good (we have it in black and apple)I have a double storm cover (recommended when I purchased it as it covers the entire unit) and a single shade cover which each come in their own bags with velcro tabs which has enabled me to attach them to back axel in the basket and the front bar (sitting on the foot rest) this means I can collapse the stroller with out having to take them out and carry themThe wheels have mud guards so water and mud are not flicking up all over the strollerThe adjustable handle height is really usefulI have not had any problems with the tiresIf I want to look at my son I can put the sunshade forward a bit and he can also see me.ConsWhen folding the stroller the front wheel often does not lock-in easily as the basket does not fold very smoothlyI sometimes struggle to open the stroller as you have to lie it flat to unlock the front wheel. The stroller is quite long and wide and is probably not the best option for densely populated city like Singapore especially as most malls do not have ramps to enter, supermarkets and shops have narrow isles and foot paths in the suburbs are usually narrow and littered with wheely bins and potted plants. The sunshade pops off when folding the stroller (apparently there is a clip to hold it on but I have not been able to find where to purchase this)You do have to be careful if you hang a bag on the back handle (phil&teds recommend against this) as it can make the stroller slightly heavy at the back and in danger of tipping backwards the bag also hangs down onto the back of the seat and as my son kicks himself backwards he often ends up wedged underneath it.The mudguards seem a little flimsy and occasionally come off when folding the stroller (but not as frequently and the sunshade). The fabric is waterproof and easy to clean but my son seems to get very hot when lying on it - I lay him on a muslin or thin blanket so he is more comfortable. The safety straps do not work very well for an infant laying flat. I usually do not strap him in and he often gets tangled in all the strapsThe instructions are not very clear. I have other Phil&teds products and this seems to be the case for a lot of their productsIt would be useful if the car seat could be attached at the back as we travel by taxi so can't leave it in a car but would like to be able to attach it to the stroller out of the way rather than on the top.
