Yes, a fixed front wheel makes for awkward maneuvering in the grocery story, but that's not what is was designed for; you don't use a fork-lift to do a grocery run either. But if you really want to run with your kids (and I run 5, 10, 15 miles or more with one of these) you NEED a fixed front wheel. You don't WANT it to turn suddenly, you want to be able to push it, let go, and let it roll in front of you without it swerving into traffic. This jogger does exactly what its supposed to do. It's not the screw-drivers fault it's bad at pounding nails -- don't give it a bad review just because you picked the wrong tool for the job.

As a dad, I loved it right off the bat. Installation consisted of 4 phillips screws for the footrest and putting air in the tires. After trying it out , I don't think the fixed front wheel is actually a "bad" thing. Plenty of storage, collapsable, sturdy. For the money, I am impressed!!

But if you're looking for a jogging stroller, you should definitely consider this one: it's pretty easy to set up, makes running with my twin boys fun and has all the necessary compartments. Before purchasing this stroller I was concerned about the fixed front wheel. It turns out this is an advantage rather than a disadvantage as when you run you extrude more weight on the back of the stroller and thus directing the stroller becomes easy while the stroller remains stable. The reason I give this stroller 4 stars instead of 5 is that the wheels come deflated and you have to go to a gas station to get them inflated and front break is a bit hard to set up and adjust. Other than that, I will highly recommend this stroller to anyone who wants to jog with 2 kids.
