The Carrycot was an obvious accessory for our newborn -- it works but there are a 4 pretty significant issues that leave us disappointed:1) The stroller cannot be collapsed and latched closed with the carrycot on. I find it hard to believe, but confirmed with the manufacturer. So if you plan to load this in the car, you will have to remove the carrycot and put it back on each time.2) Attachment isn't super stable so the carrycot wiggles around. It seems secure but the wiggling isn't confidence inspiring to anyone, especially first time parents.3) The narrow design along with the black material make this thing HOT. Plan on getting a fan to keep air circulating on the little one.4) As another reviewer mentioned, it isn't going to be easy to keep clean. The bottom comes out but it is pad, the cover cannot be removed from it. The sides you can only wipe down but the material absorbs stuff....I'm counting down the days to our newborn outgrowing this and going to the other attachments. Hopefully they workout better.

The interior width is just 10 inches. I also was worried that it looked difficult to clean. The pad at the bottom is removable, but the side fabric is screwed on, and I could see it getting stinky if you had a baby that spits up a lot or a diaper blowout (especially since it's so narrow).

0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. It is narrower than I expected, but then again, the Dot Stroller is designed to be smaller. You can detach this from the stroller when in doors and carry the baby around room to room if need be, instead of picking up your kid (and possibly waking them). I leave mine attached though, and just wheel my baby from room to room, which does rock her back to sleep at times. The bassinet isn't to be used when your baby can sit upright unaided, so this isn't meant for long term use (I read the other person's response about using this till the baby was 1, but I would think a baby would be able to sit upright by then).
