I bought this for my BOB SUV stroller to protect my infant twins from the elements. It keeps the bugs off, the sun off, and if you look from the inside, the view is not impaired at all. HOWEVER, I was about to make a big mistake. If you notice, the stroller in the picture is not the BOB SUV (or not the model that I have). I could not get the shade to fit properly...but I liked it so much I was just going to "make do" or return it for the right one...I figured maybe they sent me the revolution shade. After playing with it for the 100th time, I realized (duh) that I had it on upside down. A novice mistake, for sure, but easy to make when you see this thing in person, as it has a strip of mesh on the top and bottom of the main window. I flipped it around (the wire goes at the bottom, not the top...and the BOB logo faces the back by the handlebar, not the front by the wheel) and it fits like a charm. Sure wish I figured it out today BEFORE my walk rather than after....It's a great piece of equipment and well worth the price.

When installed, you still have gaps around the sides and what is designed to keep the bugs OUT actually can trap the bugs IN the stroller. I bought this because we live in a fairly wet area which gets VERY mosquito rich in the summertime. I almost never put it on the stroller because I had at least two instances where the mosquitos got in through the side gap, got stuck under the cover and basically ate my babies alive.Where it has been great is during the springtime when the sun is low and where the only insects around are ones that don't eat you up (they might annoy the h*ll out of the babies if they get in, but at least they won't bite them). It does keep the sun from bothering the babies too much and it tends to GENERALLY keep the gnats and other bugs out of the stroller.

I LOVE my Revolution Duallie (except the need to put air in the tires every month.)We are keeping the product, but it doesn't live up to the same standard as the stroller. Primarily, the product doesn't provide all that much protection from the sun. It may block UV well (not sure), but it does very little to keep my kids from squirming to turn away from the sun when we head that direction on our evening walks. (ie. it doesn't seem to block a decent proportion of visible light.)However, we bought this primarily to help protect them from the wind and blowing sands here in Albuquerque and it seems to perform that function well. Also, the installation is quick, efficient and a bit novel: very much a BOB product in that regard. The other major downside to this product is that it is not supposed to be used above 65 degrees. I understand the reason, but it really mutes effectiveness of this product as a sunshade since it tends to be warm when the sun is out. Perhaps some permanent vents in the sides? BOB offers the winter cover for people who really need to keep the weather out, right?
