It blocks the wind, rain, etc. I love using it with my phil and ted classic stroller. I just hated paying that kind of money for a simple rain cover. I do consider having a rain cover for my stroller a necessity because we are an on the go family and so I don't regret purchasing it, and i would recommend the product. I just wish they would drop the price.

My baby loves being outside no matter the weather, and this protects him from rain, sleet, snow, wind... It's easy to put on (not a total breeze, but easy enough), and it makes my stroller look like a rocket ship. Who doesn't want to be seen pushing a rocket ship around the neighborhood? Now if only they could invent a cover that also covers the person pushing the stroller...
