10 of 10 people found the following review helpful. We are happy with our new stroller. With the addition of our second daughter, we needed to upgrade to a stroller big enough to carry both children. We bought the doubles kit and the travel system to put the infant carrier from the car to the stroller. The stroller is compact and well made. Fabric is sturdy and appears to be durable. We travel via airplane frequently and needed a stroller that is relatively compact and lighter in weight. We also like that the wheels will allow us to take the stroller on trails. A couple of wishes would be that the stroller would collapse completely when the travel system and the double seat are installed. Winters are cold, and standing outside attaching both pieces to the stroller before putting any kids in is not the best. The travel system is works very well. Another wish would be for a little more leg room for my toddler while she is seated in the rear doubles seat. Overall, we are pleased and would recommend the Navigator as well as other Phil & Ted's products

3 of 3 people found the following review helpful. This my first double stroller (I have the double decker) and my first luxury stroller. I love the handling: the one-handed steering, the smooth glide, the way the three-wheeled suspension makes it easy to jump curbs and make tight turns. It's not the slimmest or lightest stroller. It feels huge (although it's deceptively maneuverable). I use it mostly when I need to allow both kids to sleep. I thought I would never be able to take it on the subway... Luckily I have proven myself wrong: it's not too bulky to take on the subway. I have even been able to hump it up the stairs when no one seems to have the time or notice that I need help. The pros:The ride. The steering. The compactness. The positionable top sun shadeThe cons:The storage capacity (little to none). The rain cover is large and hard to fold away)The straps (yet another stroller with thin twisty straps)The fact that you have to remove the 2nd seat to fold itThe short handle which means that, even with arms extended you tend to kick or not entirely clear the bottom seat.Having to bend down to reach the bottom seat

3 of 4 people found the following review helpful. My husband jokes that this is the best thing that has happened to me this year (aside from having another baby, of course!). ... I did a lot of research into a double stroller (including comparing the P&T Navigator and Dot--see below) and am quite happy with this product. We live right outside Washington, DC, in a neighborhood with sidewalks, restaurants, shops, the Metro (DC subway), etc. This stroller glides beautifully along the sidewalks and is very easy to turn and push up hills. My almost three year old daughter (who is in the 90th percentile for height and 35th for weight) even enjoys the bottom seat (We were a little unsure how she would adjust to being on the bottom as she was in a single stroller before, but has done great. We told her to pretend she was sitting in a tent, which worked pretty well). Once our three month old is strong enough to move to the bottom we'll put her on the top seat. ... A few reviews mention the lack of storage in the basket. We have not found this to be a problem at all. You can (to our surprise) fit a travel potty and a bottle of wine under the bottom seat. I tend to stop by the grocery store every day or so and have found that a small bag hung from a stroller clip works just fine (and does not hit my daughter's head). In terms of the Navigator versus the Dot, I could not imagine a more narrow stroller. Some online reviewers mentioned that they would prefer the Navigator with the Dot wheels. I actually like having the bigger wheels (it just makes sense that bigger wheels are going to allow you better traction, etc. when pushing two kids). I should mention that my husband thinks I like everything small (small cars, dogs, pieces of furniture) and feel the Navigator wheels are by no means large and obtrusive.I also greatly appreciate how P&Ts has car seat adapters for almost any safety seat (when shopping around you may find that some strollers require certain brands). We have the Peg Perego Primo Viaggio Classic and the adapter works great.
