Well, all I have to say is, this stroller is HEAVEN.I use it on average of twice a day to walk my dog. It has seen rain, ice, and, most recently, tons of snow. It takes a bit of effort to get it through an unshoveled sidewalk, but it goes, and my daughter seems to even enjoy the rough ride --laughing and smiling as we go.It also seems like it is made of solid materials and should have no problem lasting for the long haul.I was giddy with delight when we took it out of the box and saw in person how clever this stroller is, and now, after using it for close to 8 months, I still can't believe how wonderful it is!In terms of a comparison, I walk with a friend that has a bugaboo. There really is no comparison between these strollers, and my friend will be buying a Phil and Ted when she has another kid. I have no problem going over curbs, etc. while my friend tends to turn the stroller around. Can you imagine spending 800 on a stroller that you turn around to go over curbs?!?!?!I highly recommend this stroller as a single, and can't wait to get to use it as a double. Well worth the money, and in the long run, I think it is the most economical way to go --if you plan on having kids close together in age. This stroller is also not that heavy and it fits easily in my small Honda Civic's trunk--mind you, not much else will fit in the truck, but the stroller does. After fretting for months over what stroller to buy, I can say that I have not once had any regrets about this purchase. Instead, I've just been delighted and pleased as punch to have such a wonderful stroller to push my little girl in every day.*****Almost three years later, and this stroller is still going, and going, and going. We recently replaced a tire, and it's all starting to look a bit worn, but after daily walks, lugging two kids and tons of stuff around, it's in great shape and will last for as long as I need a stroller. I'm thinking it might make it through a third kid, but with a few more repairs.....Back to the clever stuff: after my second child was born, I got the pleasure of putting him in the bassinet setting of the stroller, and placing my toddler on the front of the stroller with a jump seat! She loved it, and it was perfect for providing shade when at the Zoo, etc. Now that my oldest is 3.5, and my youngest is almost 2, they are always fighting over who gets to sit in the jump seat. This is a smart purchase. and my friend with the bugaboo? She ended up buying one of these! and She loves it!If you know you will be having kids close together in age, get this stroller.

No tools needed, but the tires are flat so you will need an air pump.I am expecting my second child in a few months so we are not currently using it as a double, but I put my son in the doubles seat and pushed him around the house and he didn't seem to mind the "back seat". He is 14 months, weighs 20 lbs. and it did not tip at all with no child in the big seat.I also bought the Regal Graco car seat adapter and tried it out with my Graco Safeseat. The car seat fits great without reclining the seat, so I am planning on using the doubles kit with the car seat adapter (even though Phil&Ted's does not recommend this).Folds really easily (MUCH smaller than my Teutonia).I bought the Jolly Jumper stroller caddy to use as cup holders. It fits on their great, but cups without a lid would spill when you have to tilt the handle bar to put in the brake position.I also purchased the Phil&Ted's universal food tray, which attaches the the bumper bar. It is a great place to put my son's snacks. It is easy to attach and folds flat, so I you could store it in the pocket on the back of the seat.Dash vs. Sport - extra padded seats, plastic footwell, handle bar brake, and storage pocket on the back of main seatCons:SUNSHADE!!!! The sunshade on the main seat is terrible. It barely provides any protection and either has to be snapped on in full sunshade mode (like in the picture) or unsnapped and not used at all...no inbetween. I did buy a kiddopatumus sunshade thing, but feel like it is a pain to attach all the time and blows up in the wind.We haven't started using the doubles seat, but there is NO sunshade at all.Steering- my stroller seems to always pull one way or the other. It is actually a work out trying to keep it straight.I find the handle bar to be a little too thick. I am petite and my hands get sore from gripping it after a long walk (this was never a problem on my Teutonia).Last- I find that I really do miss the option of being able to turn the seat rear facing. I could do this on my old stroller and thought my son had outgrown liking that, but I miss the option.Overall:I love the tandem double idea and Phil & Ted's really is the the size/weight of a single jogger, but you have to sacrifice for a lot of negatives.Edit: I found that the canopy off of the Especially for Kids Umbrella stroller sold at Babies R Us/TRU for $19.99 clips on to the frame of the stoller and doubles seat. This has solved the issues of lack of sun canopy on the rear seat and poor sun shade on the main seat. See my pics!

I could put up with its awkward & confusing folding procedure. I could put up with it's bulky width. However, I can no longer put up with it's absolutely horrible design!Bottom line, the back seat sticks out farther in the rear than the handlebars do. Thus, as you walk hunched over with your arms fully extended, your shins/knees are slamming into the head of rear seated child. I tried for weeks to find a way round it or deal with it. No dice! Off to Ebay.Maybe I was spoiled when we had only one child and a Bugaboo that I absolutley loved. Why and the heck dosn't Bugaboo make a inline 2 kid stroller that works!
