Keeps the sun out of my little one's face while going on hikes etc.I was surprised to find an additional rain cover in the pocket. Great bonus item. Haven't had to use it yet, but it's nice to know I can now keep the rain out as well.

0 of 0 people found the following review helpful.Loved this, thanks to the reviewer who mentioned the surprise rain cover, we purchased this for our trip to costa rica with our 8 month old. It kept him dry except for his feet and hands, but it is so warm there this did not bother him. A bigger child might get half his arms (if he sticks them out) and legs wet. But it closes nicely around the head. Havent used it for sun shade.
